Went to have some beers and food, watch the Daytona 500 just because it only happens once a year. Got there early before anyone else, was drinking and eating having a good time me and my buddy enjoying the one Tv with the race on at the end of the bar. Then the bar tenders friends came, and wanted to watch the bruins game halfway into the race the bartender told us she was changing the channel in 30 minutes. With all the space at the bar and the other 100 TV's I think they could have moved and watched that game, since we were watching the one TV at the end of the bar. When she told us that we packed up and went else where to watch the race.
My first time at a buffalo wild wings was amazed by the amount of tvs and the wings were amazing. If it is your first time do not go to spicy i went half way down the list and it was very spicey i cant imagine what the last one would be.
So I decided to give the place a second shot seeing it looks like it's always packed, so there must be good food. The first time I went I went for lunch at the bar. The atmosphere is impressive and the beer selection was also. I decided to try some of the boneless curry wings. For the price I would of thought I'd get some nice big juicy chicken pieces but was disappointed when they were just little nuggets. The second time I went I got the bone in habanero mango wings. Oh and they charge extra for celery/carrots and also ranch/blue cheese. The sauce was nice and hot and tasty which was to my liking but the wings weren't crispy at all. The skin was soggy with sauce. I had to take them home and bake them in the oven to be able to enjoy them. I also ordered the cheese curds seeing I just got back from Minnesota and had some delicious ones there. The ones I got at Buffalo Wild Wings were like small bits of styrofoam. I won't be going back for a third time
If you like chicken wings, then this is the place for you! They have over 20 different kind of sauces and rubs to choose from, all the way from mild to fire hot. My favorite by far is the lemon pepper dry rub. The sell their sauces and rubs as well. Yummy!
I'm going to give them the benefit of the doubt because they recently opened this location. One night, their computer system was down so they weren't taking take-out orders. The next night, there was a 2-hour wait for take-out because the computers were still backed up from being down the night before. On a different (dine-in) night, an order of 6 wings took 45 minutes to arrive (and half of the restaurant was empty). On a high note, the waitstaff are courteous and knowledgeable for the most part.
Worst wings ever....but at least it matched the service. The only good thing about this place is all the tv's and the games on the wall!! Can't say I'll be going back here!
We went last night to the new BBWW's in Shrewsbury since you know " it's the place to go for Wings", the place was packed and though there's plenty of parking spaces it was tight and looked like a large traffic jam. Walking in the place it looks like a warehouse with tables and a bar, it's so large the sound drowns out everything, designed to look like a sports bar I think it's a poor design that takes away from the dinning experience. Now just getting through the door is a major effort the front area where people wait is right next to the entrance and the door with the crowd completely blocking access in and of course with everyone on their phones you have to literally have to push your way in with no one from the staff keeping the isle clear ( get that point?) and you can forget about any type of greeting or acknowledgement theirs no real flow to the place and we were lucky enough to get 2 seats at the bar and ordered 2 cocktails, a whiskey Sour and a Makers Mark, let me just say I get the fact that they use measure their drinks but to serve a WS in a glass a little large than a shot glass was a little bit insulting and showed the lack of bartender education of the staff as my wife said she wanted to crawl into the TV to get to the Mad Men set where they make a proper WS, serve it in the glass it's meant to be served in. I ordered a take out and she took my order, now I know this might be obvious but make sure you ask both people or at least don't run off when 1 person gives you their order, maybe the 2nd person may want to order as well. Now a point about boneless wings, really they need to change it as pointed out in other reviews, bites, pieces, nuggets what ever but they in no way th resemble wings. This may be for some people but not for me, sure it's a pace to go and the prices are reasonable but they really need to work on interpersonal & presentation skills because overall you get no sense of appreciation for your business and it's so busy ( which is good) that I get the impression they value the product more than the people who come in, find a balance since reputation only goes so far
Buffalo Wild Wings is a pretty spacious restaurant with a sports theme. Big screen televisions are everywhere and dance music is played in the background. Staff is friendly and accommodating. Food is well priced. The food came out fast, hot and fresh. Rachel loved her burger and my wings were tasty. My only cons are they did not ask me if we had any food allergies.
Good vibe for the younger crowd, awesome with all the tv screens on different sport channels surrounding the restaurant, and food portions were very generous.
Ordered take out for the NFC game . I ordered a combo bone in and boneless wing plate. bites is what the boneless wings should be called , really small . I ordered two different kinds buffalo and teriyaki when I got home and opened the box everything was just tossed together . Wings over Worcester blows this place away, for take out .
We tried to get in on a Saturday afternoon (perhaps the day they opened?) - but the crowds were such that we would have had to wait a very long time. Tried several weeks later on a Monday night about 8 PM, thinking it wouldn't be crowded. We were seated right away, but immediately noticed the noise level was extremely high - so high, that even shouting each other at the table, we couldn't be heard. I could take the plethora of various-sized TVs tuned to every possible sports channel taking up every square inch of space around the room (it was probably a good thing that we couldn't hear them anyway, it would have been difficult to follow any commentary), but the overall noise of the restaurant didn't make for a pleasant dining experience. Now for the food - average, at best. The onion rings, while crispy, had a sheen of grease, and were average tasting. The wings were good, nothing remarkable. The nachos were average. The table service was very good, our waitress was very attentive and knew her menu items. If you are looking for average food in a very noisy atmosphere, this is your place; if not, drive on by. Our comment to one another upon leaving: I wish this place was still a Borders' bookstore!
My grandson and I where at Buffalo Wild Wings on a very busy Saturday. We had half hour wait which was fine. We had the wings which where ok , I havehad better . We also had burgers which you can add different items to. Burgers where good. The problem we had was with the service it was fast however at least three timesduring the meal we where asked if we where done when half the meal was on the plate. I understand they wanted the table but I felt rushed .
We were there for their for their soft opening, very good food, great waitstaffI was impressed at how everyone handle the grand opening. I expected a lot of confusion and mistakes. There were none for us. A bit too loud in there for me though. They have TV's everywhere which is great, but the hockey game was to much.
