Seats are about $1 more than other theaters but absolutely worth the price. Seats are very comfortable, leather, wide, with plenty of space. Bar downstairs to enjoy a glass of wine or a drink either before or after the show. Seats are reserved so get their early or order online.
First time there and was not disappointed. Food was good, hot and the service was good also. We are going back again
What a great place. It's a wonderful small theater with good views from everywhere. It's clean and comfortable. I was with three friends to see a play and had never been there before. I was very pleasantly surprised. Will happily go again.
The city of Bethesda, Md. I a very nice area. I wish I could move there someday. I love the area, the shops, stores, the layout, the homes and houses, apartment makes me dream. But the place is too upscale for me unless I hit the lottery or something. the eats and foods and restaurants all there in a confined area and being a city boy, the downtown area with its hustle and bustle, I love it. I enjoy it every time I have a chance to be there. Though it is a bit too upscale for me to live there every day, I can dream. And dream I do, when I look out there window of my favorite hotel, The American Inn of Bethesda, I see places I could stay at for a lifetime. Even when I walk around, the people of all the world are there, living their lives, going about their businesses, I just love it. James G. Wallace
We booked to see a children's play. All very well produced and a delight to see. What a great amenity in Bethesda
Great place to see a play. Small enough that every seat is a good seat. Good actors too. They even have a full bar in lobby area.
Always has a selection of the best movies. Smallish theatres,a little more expensive than neighborhood theatres. Located next to a great number of excellent restaurants and County Parking
They have films that many other cinemas don't show. The theatre is comfortable and the popcorn is very good.
Went here this past weekend and while it is a smaller theater, it was nice to not be part of the huge crowds. No issues with seating or sound. The only complaint I had is that concessions shut down half way thru our movie (the late show) and we couldn't get a soda!
Check often to see what live entertainment is being hosted at this venue.the theater is on the small scale, and although we sat 10 rows from the stage, we could have purchased the less expensive tickets and had a great view, too. This theater appears to be a little known local secret. A group of us went on a Saturday this spring (April 2009) to see "Menopause the Musical". We parked the car w/out a problem and headed off to find a place to have dinner. Wow, lots of dining choices with original (as opposed to 'chain' type dining) menus. The theater was a short walk from our restaurant. The show was VERY affordable at a time when you practically need to have access to the Carnegie fortune to see a live performance. Afterwards, we hit Ben & Jerry's on the way to the car, for smoothies! Everyone in our group of 10 said it was an 'out of the ballpark' experience.
