Soldier's Delight is serene and peaceful. The fields are beautiful with many winding trails and streams. Nature Center on site. You have to hike it a few times a season as the scenery changes.

Soldier's Delight has something for everyone - short and long walking (or cross country) trials, and unparalleled scenery that reminds a person of a prairie. Once you get on the large field, the weather changes and you feel like you are in New Mexico or some barren, windy environment. The place also has a small aviary, nature center, old mine and stone hunting lodge (not accessible for tours). Very peaceful place to be...
