We booked a half day trip (4 hours) with Captain Bill aboard his new 46' boat, Doghouse. Our group spanned three generations including Grandparents, adults and two children aged 9 and 5. The boat had plenty of room for our party of 6 and was very clean.Our first stop was fishing for bait fish (Spot) off Hoopers Island. This was great for the kids. Next stop was about a mile out into the Bay fishing for Rockfish.While the Rockfish were too much for the 5 year old, the rest of the party had no problems and we easily caught our limit (2 per person). Once we hit our limit, we kept continued fishing for Rockfish, releasing any that we caught. As the time wound down, we headed back to Hoopers Island for the little ones to pick up a few more spot before we headed back to port.Captain Bill was great with young and old alike. He offered help when needed and made sure that everyone caught a fish. At the end of the trip, he cleaned all of the fish dockside and we were on our way. A few minutes outside, St. Michaels, this is a great way to spend a half day. Great boat, great captain and great fishing!
