clive's transport service jamaica tours

Its been a few months since I came back from JA and I reviewed everything except for the transportation (1 of the most important). As soon as we walked out of the airport our van was waiting with ICE COLD red stripe or water (very refreshing as it was HOT). The road to Negril is a little rough at times but the drivers was very careful and gave us a little history about different sections of towns we rode through. Departure service back to airport was prompt but I must say their was this 1 lady who was on the van with us who insisted on playing her music pill to the highest level it would go eeeeerrrr. Not the way I want to spend my last few minutes in paradise. All in all the taxi service was prompt, efficient, safe and reasonably priced. I can't wait to go back to JA this year and hope to move there 1 day sooonn..

This was our 2nd time using Clive Transport. We had booked them 3 years ago (twice in the same trip) and now again this past January 2015. Always on time. Clean vehicles. Great service with a smile. This time we got Michael who was just a great guy. Respect man. Use them they are great.See you next time Anna and Wayne

I've used Clive's Transport Service for over ten years, both as airport transfer and tour guide. I have been super impressed by the way they treat me; very respectful and accommodating. My transfer trips from Montego Bay to Negril have always gone off without a hitch. Clive's even pulled over to pick up extra refreshments or washroom/smoke breaks at the request of clients. They do this as a matter of course. As far as tours go, Clive's has tailor-made them to suit exactly what I want, plus added in extra little side-tours that happened to be en route to or from my booked destination! Fresh fried fish or peppery little shrimp on the side of the road by the river. I experienced unique Jamaican tours because Clive's went the extra mile, without my asking. Fantastic!!

So professional, so timely, and affordable. We found them here on Trip Advisor. Made our reservations on line. Paid more than a group transport, but the service was impeccable. Did have a complimentary Red Stripe at the airport, but that was unimportant to us. What mattered is when there was traffic/construction difficulties en route to Negril, they knew to check and maneuver around. Very timely both to and from the airport. You cannot do better than this service. We recommend reserving in advance. Clive (our driver from the airport) also gave us some orientation on the culture, what was legal and what was not, and we just felt very secure in his care. Could not recommend anyone higher. We did not use for private tours, because we didn't go anywhere, but they were very willing to accomodate. Clean new black car or SUV/Crossover both directions.

It is our first time flying into Montego Bay Jamaica and we booked an airport pick up on line with Clive's. His employee(son,actually) had a sign indicating who he was,knew our names and our hotel AND got us 2 cold Red Stripes! We had no wait and Clive himself drove us to the HI Sunspree Resort 10 minutes away.Super clean vehicle,very polite and articulate fellows. He doesn't solicit ,just relies on business cards,repeat business and word of mouth. Cost us a mere $20 each way for 2. Our friends were not so lucky . They booked a taxi and waited over 40 minutes just for a pick up and paid more with NO beer.
