Wine tastings at Carbrea are fun and something I like to do every summer. Steven is a great host, and they always make you feel at home and welcome. I always take home a bottle of the blackberry desert wine.

Owned by the same family that owns the Sea Breeze Lodge where we stayed we decided to stop for a visit. It was a nice stop and a beautiful property. Friendly staff and owner. Sampled and purchased wines in their shop.

My sister and I stopped in to Carbrea Winery to have a tasting at the winery that we had heard good things about. We were very surprised to see the owner of the Sea Breeze Lodge, who also owns this winery even though he can't advertise it or sell wine in his restaurant. Just like the Sea Breeze, Carbrea is a class act. Great wine too! Love the Blackberry desert wine and the Pinot Gris is great too. Felt like we were in California. We brought a picnic that we enjoyed in the vineyard. It is time that B.C. amended its liquor laws to allow business owners to maximize their opportunities when they own a vineyard and a lodge.
