Enjoyed fun cruise up the mighty Murray with informative captain, his wife and friendly crew, . Lovely scones and tea and relaxed atmosphere.

Our group of 13 mature ladies had a lovely time cruising down the river on the Barrungul, even though it was a very hot day. The scones were great and the Captain's commentary was very interesting and funny, but be warned, it is Captain's pick when it comes to music and he turns the volume up on his favourites - some of which you may not have heard for decades!!! You can enjoy the views from inside or just sit and relax on deck and watch the world drift by. Great value.

It was a good cruise and good service. But you need to put a photo of the boat on this site so people can see what the boat looks like.

How magnificent it is to cruise the great Murray River on the Barrangul. The tranquility of the river was only broken by the delightfully entertaining hosts: Captain David and First Mate Pattsy who took pleasure in displaying the friendship and charm synonymous with the charming people of Renmark. Highly recommended.

Just to let wheelchair users know there were no issues getting onto the boat and around the boat. The couple who run the boat are indeed knowledgable and good craic. We had delicious scones and cream with a choice of teas or coffee. A very peaceful and beautiful cruise. We had been lucky enough to see some koalas. We would very happily return and do this cruise again, we can not recommend it highly enough.

Having cruised on the Barrangul many times while it was based in Murray Bridge, we were delighted to have come across it while travelling the Riverland. It is now based in Renmark and what a picturesque cruise it was! Very knowledgeable couple running the business and the scones are to die for - deeeelicious! A great asset to the tourism businesses in and around Renmark so utilise it everyone.

Thanks for a great experience on the Barrangul with some witty comments from Captain David. It was a very relaxing cruise on the tranquil Murray.

How many of you can say you've cruised the Murray on the very same vessel that Prince Charles and Lady Di have been on ? They were on the Barrangul back in 1983 and here we are 31 years later and the Barrangul is still gently cruising this iconic river, providing a pleasurable, fun and relaxing experience for all ages. For the past 12 months the Barrangul has been operating in Renmark following 20 years successfully operating in Murray Bridge.Captain David Bean and his wife Patsy are the perfect hosts. David has been a river captain for 25 years and it shows !! His vast knowledge and experience of the river is a true highlight of the afternoon as he entertains us with his charming and humorous commentary throughout the cruise. Excellent ! There is ample wildlife along the way providing great photo opportunities including an abundance of bird life and Koalas which are regularly spotted. David is only too happy to slow the boat down for those special shots along the way.The Devonshire Tea cruise is a lovely way to experience the river...compliments to Patsy on the scones. What could be more relaxing than a fine Devonshire Tea whilst cruising this beautiful stretch of the Murray ?........I would highly recommend the Barrangul and look forward to my next trip.Long may she cruise !

We travel a lot and never had the chance to visit Renmark until recently. We thought it would be lovely to take a boat ride for a different experience, and were surprised to find that Lady Di and Prince Charles had been on it! Great couple running the show and overall very relaxing and good value. We had scones with coffee but there is a bar, and luncheons for bigger groups so if we're ever back with the family we'll book in advance for lunch for sure! A must do 'when in Renmark'!

This is my second time on this river boat. Once in Murray Bridge and now in beautiful Renmark. The cruise included a Devonshire tea whilst taking in the meandering waters of the mighty Murray. It doesn't get any better. Highly recommend it. great photos.

A lovely afternoon cruise on the "MV Barrangul" included Devonshire tea, and great bird photo opportunities along the Murray River. The owners are just starting off in Renmark after running a similar enterprise at Murray Bend for many years. We were impressed by the range of activities for children on board - good to see a big age range getting right into solving intricate puzzles or games, and the big ones helping the littlies... not an i-Pad or phone in sight!
