The Margan Winery cellar door is in a beautiful location in the Hunter Valley. The guy behind the bar in the tasting room was friendly, helpful, and incredibly knowledgable. The shiraz was a particular favourite, though the cab sav and the barbera were also terrific. Lovely whites too. Impossible to leave empty-handed. Would love to try the award winning restaurant - next visit!

Broke has specil terrior whihc adds tot he grapes and in the hands of the Margan family translates into superb wines. The Museum Release at cellar door are well worth the price .Staff are not pushy yet knwo their whites and the specil reads- Barbera for example, The restaurant next door is stunning.
