Aqua Rush uses funny speed boats. We were asked to sit in a certain way to cope with the smashing over the waves (the boat does go very fast) but at the same time we had to put our snorkeling gears on the floor and therefore couldn't actually sit safely. So quite a few of us had bruises after the trip from the boat jumping over those waves.The snorkeling grounds were beautiful but the currents in the water very strong. Our guide dashed off, leaving a lot of us behind fighting with the current. Instead of slowing down and making sure we were safe, she was just yelling at us to "hurry up"!

We have come to Coral Bay for many years and wanted to try a new tour with some new snorkelling experiences. The boat was quick and it was a lot of fun jumping waves and zooming along. We were told we would get wet in the boat and that it could be a bit rough so there were no surprises. The snorkelling was nice and the guide kept his eye on us and it also was a much slower pace than other tours - not swimming like mad to keep up with a manta ray or whale shark! A great two hours on the water!

This tour was recommended to us and we loved it - great value for money, felt like we saw so much in 2 hours but still had the rest of the day for other sightseeing. Speedboat ride was exhilarating and of course seeing the reef was amazing.

We had similar experience to other 'average' review. Boat trip was scary in rough and windy conditions. 10 customers with one guide in water. Did not look after group. Did not make any attempt to ensure swimmers safety. 4 out of 10 people got to swim with the turtles.If your group are all strong swimmers then you will enjoy this trip. If you have weaker swimmers in your group then I suggest you choose another snorkeling trip.

This is without doubt one of the best value for money tours I've done . The company are professional friendly and knowledgable . The guide was excellent, taking loads of underwater pictures, so you could just relax , and buy at the end for a reasonable price . It was long enough to be super enjoyable, without getting burnt by the sun . We saw turtles, reef sharks and loads of different fish, very happy customers

I went on the 2hr ($60), boat ride with a maximum of 12 people. You go to 2 snorkel sites, and get to see some amazing coral, turtles, sharks, fish etc. It was my FIRST time snorkelling and before booking I enquired if that was ok. Karen at the office, was just lovely. She knew I was nervous (& excited), and so explained the best place to sit on the boat, that I could use a noodle if I wanted, and that there were only 12 people on the tour, plus the photographer.I loved this tour, but I would not recommend it for a FIRST snorkel. When we went to the second area to snorkel, it was hard going in one spot to get out to the area where we could drift. It was explained to us, to keep our heads down, but one person unfortunately scraped themselves on the coral, as they were also inexperienced.Also paid $25 for a disc of photos taken. Memorable.

Our family has a done a few snorkelling trips around Australia but this tour was one of the best. It is short, only 2 hours but a lot is packed in. You zoom out to the first site and see great coral and beautiful fish, as well as reef sharks and stonefish. Then you zoom to the second site and we were so lucky to be surrounded by turtles for the entire time. There were about 15 of them and we swam along with them. It was just brilliant. We then zoomed back to the marina. Best $60 we spent on any reef excursion ever.

Graeme and Karen run a fun filled boat trip and snorkelling adventure. We went out and saw heaps of whales and then Graeme took us to some amazing snorkelling places. We saw loads of different types of fish and turtles and sting rays. Was a fulfilled time out on the boat. Job well done guys.

AMAZING VALUE FOR MONEY ($25 per hour) to see Whales, Turtles, 2 Snorkel Spots, Reef Sharks, Lunch on a beautiful beach, whilst being on board a heart pumping speed boat. Great charismatic skipper and friendly deckhand make a great experience even better. A trip to remember during my time in coral bay. I've done the 2 hours speed boat and snorkelling in Coral Bay with Aquarush60$ without pictures and videos (+30$)Good tour, they give you all that you need, you don't wait so you can enjoy the speed boating and snorkelling. You have what you've paid for, no special extra (some biscuits or drinks ? Some help for people who've never done snorkelling ?)But nice tour, recommended if you're in Coral Bay

Whilst this trip was affordable we were pretty much left on our own. The two young girls who were the guides took off and left the not so experienced behind. The second part of the snorkelling trip we had to swim against a very strong current to get to see turtles. Four out of a group of ten couldn't get there and the guides long gone. We were picked up by the boat and when we voiced that we were disappointed that we didnt see turtles we were told "but you had a good time."The skipper of the boat even admitted he shouldn't have dropped the snorkellers off against that current. If you've never been on a boat before the boat ride is exciting but we had. So we didnt purchase photos because none were taken of us because we couldn't swim to the turtles

Had a wonderful 2 hour trip snorkelling the reef. Saw lots of marine life had a fast ride in the boat.Just great. Absolutely recommend!!

Whilst in Coral Bay, we experienced the aqua rush. This is a must do for a snorkel trip near the reef.We saw reef sharks,turtles,lots of variety of fish & beautiful coral & to top it of an adrenalin rush whilst speeding through the water. Best value for your money you will have whilst in Coral Bay.Thanks to Graham & Kaitlynn you were great guides.
