ningaloo reef dive

Well organized Manta snorkling tour. We were snorkling with a manta. Additionally we did 2 wonderful dives at the Ningaloo Reef. Thanks for this experience.

I had a really good day's diving with Ningaloo Reef dive made even better by our dive master Vicky. It was my first dive since completing my PADI and I found her pre-dive briefings really thorough, clear explanations and reminders of key points all excellent. She made me feel very calm and relaxed and I would heavily recommend the day.We saw manta rays, sharks, dolphins and turtles over lunch, and hundreds of other marine life. Staff in the shop were also great too.

We spent a day out on the reef with Ningaloo Reef Dive and had an amazing time. We did 3 snorkels and saw reef sharks, a manta ray, dolphins, turtles and loads of fish! Vicky and Ali were great crew too.

I hate to say it but the staff in the shop were brilliant - which was a real disappointment that the staff on the boat were actually pretty brash and not engaging at all! As an experienced diver I like to see diver masters engaged with the newer divers to make sure they are comfortable and go through the details of their equipment etc... None of that was apparent at all - it was more due to the amount of people they had a get yourselves ready kindof job... I really felt for the snorkellers on the Manta Ray snorkel as it was pretty much a chase the Manta Ray experience and some just couldn't keep up, and were pretty much just told to put their hands up and wait to be rescued by the boat! It just wasn't the greatest experience... customer wise... There are lots of other places in the world where you don't actually have to chase these beautiful creatures!On top of that Lunch was pretty basic and very underwhelming to say the least... at this time the dive masters pretty much sat in their own group and didn't speak to anyone else!On the plus side the second dive of the day may have been one of the best dives I have had - the coral was amazing and the amount of sharks, turtles and tropical fish we were lucky enough to see was great - we also encountered a huge Eagle ray at the end who was very playful... The coral was very very impressive, maybe the best I have seen... So much better than its sister reef on the East Coast. So all in all the experience was good - but really let down by the dive masters themselves which is a huge shame.

We did this trip on the last day of our holiday. We had booked for two dives with a snorkel in between but when the spotter saw a whaleshark we were given the opportunity to snorkel with her. Out of season we felt very privileged and the lovely captain still took us to the manta rays too. Then a detour for dolphins and turtles and the awesome shark cleaning station. I cannot praise this place highly enough. Whatever they pay their staff...its not enough. Great job guys and most thoroughly recommended.

I did two dives with a manta snorkeling trip between the dive and we saw turtles, sharks, a big manta, many fishs and corals. It was a nice trip, i can recommend it!

Family with 4 kids we chose this company to do our Ningaloo snorkel and Manta Rays experience and it was excellent. We all (even the young ones) got full length wetsuits which were needed. We went out on 26 Nov. We saw one barrel rolling Manta Ray then after we finished looking at this the crew felt we needed more so they found another 2 barrel rolling together AWESOME! Kids saw the whole thing only metres under them. The 2 other snorkel sites were excellent with great variety of coral, fish, couple of turtles and 7 reef sharks. The shark cleaning station was awesome with shark even getting their teeth cleaned. Also swam though school of several hundred trevalley. Saw Dolphins from the boat also several turtles over lunch as well. Even though this was a dive boat the snorkelers were well looked after and worked in our favour with heaps of time at snorkel sites. Great interaction between the divers and our kids who were snorkelers. Crew on boat excellent. Only downside was one inconsiderate other snorkeler with his Go Pro stick which he kept shoving across our awesome line of view of manta rays and sharks. Please be considerate with you GoPros!

well that comes as a surprise to us about our "smelly" shop as the same staff you are praising are responsible for the cleanliness of the shop boat and equipment and they are a bit upset you are stating they have failed in this area, we spent a lot of money completely upgrading the shop from when we purchased it in 2007 as it was dark old and falling apart to get it to the best store in Coral Bay as mentioned by many trip advisor reviewers on the page, I am actually a qualified commercial diver and my wife is a licensed PADI diver so not sure where you are getting your incorrect information from, maybe you also have the wrong business, we have recently purchased a second whale shark license at great cost, a third aircraft for better spotting reliability,2 new motors for the dive boat about to be fitted so stingy I think is exaggerated once more, still with over 5000 customers a year I guess we cannot make everyone happy sorry you felt that way.

great tour with three stops: two for snorkel or dive and one for snorkel with mata raylast stop at asho's gap - we saw turtles and a cleaning station with grey reef sharks :-) good organization and very friendly crew!

We enjoyed a half day tour, with parents diving and teenage kids snorkeling, including all of us snorkeling with a manta ray. We all enjoyed it very much, kids also saw a shark and a turtle, friendly and informative staff, excellent underwater photographer, safe diving guidance, superb all round, don't be baffled by all the choice in Coral Bay, stick with Ningaloo Reef Dive!
