Shes wonderful to talk to. Very beautiful scenary, close to bisbee and the border. Two thumbs up, and would definitely recommed this to anyone passing through. Take a sec to pet or feed the animals, dont forget a bag of carrots!

This is a charming elderly Lady holding on to a dream of creating a friendly and historic campground and tourist destinations. She is one of the most competent and interesting 86 yr. olds one could ever hope to converse with....and she does not take medicine like the rest of us typically do.What Belle needs at this point is not camping business but caring souls who may stop to visit and I'd encourage folks to bring treats for the friendly Horses and Donkeys, and a cake or pie for her.

Silverado is a little bit of heaven with friendly inquisitive donkeys, exotic roosters from Asia, an albino peacock, foxy little chihuahua, two sweet ranch dogs and the biggest handsomest horses ever...Belle herself isan elfin firecracker who will share her story and listen to yours as she gives you the grand tour riding you around on her john deere tractorette!Especially beautiful are her birds of paradise trees and the gorgeous view of the mountains from anywhere on her property....Don't miss her painstaking reproduction of the original Belle Starr's long cabin as it once stood in Carthage Missour!

We stopped into see Belle Starr today, so we would know where it was when we come to stay at her ranch in Dec.She was everything we knew she would be, and then some. She welcomed us into her home, having no idea who we were. We sat and talked for about an hour, then walked around the ranch and met the animals. They were as friendlly as Belle.We are going in Dec. to stay and see what we can do to help her around the ranch. She is doing a wonderful job on her own, but this is a huge job for anyone.I would encourage anyone to stop in to meet Belle, and see what you could do to help her out. She is a wonderful spirit!!!
