This museum has so many things to see from the old days when Apopka was the fern capital of the world and Lake Apopka was known for bass fishing. If you are new to the area or have lived here a long time take some time to visit. If you are lucky enough to catch one of the volunteers, Ms. Gilman there you are in for a treat. She is like a walking encyclopedia of all things Apopka.It is opened noon-5 Tuesday - Friday, it is free but donations are appreciated.
