silo distillery

Made a quick stop at the Silo. Lots of interesting Spirits to taste. Vodka was very good as well as the Bourbon. The staff was very friendly and knowledgable. My husband and son were able to try a home made batch of chili pepper infused vodka. They thought it was awesome. Wish I took some pictures to post. The building is very cool!!! Worth the stop.

Very interesting hand crafted vodka and gin using local ingredients. The gin is unique, flavored with local apples and botanicals. Is it a bit pricey at $45? Yes. Is it very cool that it's made in Vermont and makes a great martini or G&T? You bet. Check it out, next to Harpoon brewery. I see they're making bourbon now as well.
