It is a nice newer Ohio casino and enjoy the smoke free environment. I wish the could have hotels like the old riverboats in Indiana as you have the shuttle from a hotel about 3 miles away. They have a few different food choices but the casino looks bigger from the outside. The staff was friendly and plenty of girls to bring you drinks which can be problematic in some casinos.

First off - Non-smoking facility! Yay!! It is so refreshing to go and play and not reek of tobacco. It is easy to find your way around, plenty of parking, plenty of slot and tables. They have areas set aside for people who want to make the larger wagers. Good food, whether you want to go the buffet route or restaurant seating.

It is a casino, they are not built on winners. This casino is nice compared to other Ohio ones. I thought they needed more tables even though I do not play them. I played a good three hours and brought $200 and took home $325 all on penny slots. Even if I had lost my $200, that is my entertainment for the night. The chance to win is your entertainment. Winning is a bonus. If you think you are going to win, then do not go, you are in for disappointment. It is all randomness and luck. It is a nice casino compared to Dayton, Monroe, and Cleveland.

Casino was dirty,people were rude, not enough tables and for a small casino stakes were high. Detroit and Windsor close. Much better gambling and amenities. Don't waste your time!

I've NEVER (in 3 trips) have seen machines SO tight. I've been to casinos all over Canada and the U.S. This place takes the cake!!!!! Unreal. Buffet is awesome....I will give it that. IMO.....Ohio gave Ohio people casinos to go to so they don't go to MI or Canada.....NEWSFLASH.......you're being SCREWED!!!!!!! Will never, EVER be back. Keep your "casinos".

I've visited multiple times just to leave very disappointed. An example play $25.00 on one machine, hit bonus round once, win .15 cents, what a joke! Yes I understand the odds favor the casino but this place is will just take your money. Take a couple hundred and it will last you less than an hour. I'm a sucker because I keep trying this place hoping things will change but it's been two years with the same outcome, you will lose! Just watch the people around you and when you leave all shaking their heads in disbelief, talk to a few and they all say the same thing, horrible payouts!

I've only been there twice. The first time, we used valet and the service was terrible. I guess someone took an ill timed break, and we had to wait forty minutes to get our car. We've eaten at the buffet both times, just to give them another chance, and we won't be back. The food was cold, they don't replenish the food often enough, and the flavor and quality was poor. This buffet cannot compete with the buffets at casinos in Las Vegas or Detroit. It is not worth the money. As for the games, everything is as expected when visiting a casino.

With the Final Cut restaurant and a generally not crowded nor smokey atmosphere on the gaming floor, the Hollywood Casino is a great place to spend an evening out with your significant other. The Final Cut is the ultimate in dining experience both in the quality of the food and service as well as the ambiance.I like to gamble every now and then and it is very convenient when finished with your romantic dinner to stop at the craps table for a few throws of the dice.I highly recommend the Final Cut for special events such as anniversaries.

My daughter and I went to a concert, Travis Tritt at this Casino. It was one of the nicest casinos I have been too. They were well prepared for the concert and it was very organized. There was plenty of room to stand in line, and it did not seem to be crowded. The casino was very clean and bright, and everyone was very helpful! I would definitely go there again.

It is a nice casino. Not extremely big but big enough to lose my girlfriend while playing the slot machines. They also offer complimentary soda drinks and coffee all day!

The location is easy on and off of Interstate 75 but there is nothing else to do around the casino. The parking garage is big and well lit. The slots are not loose. At least for me. The restaurants are expensive so eat before you go.

Toledo is known for just a few things; and a being highfalutin well-to-do gamblers destination is not one of them. This Casino just stands completely out of place in a city not known for it's gambling. Picture this. The casino stands right on the riverfront directly outside, from any direction I might add, from totally blue collar towns and establishments. It was the worst place, other than in the middle of a sanctuary for wildlife to place this building. It, in no way, gives a sense fun. You're more worried about what bums are going to come out of the woods or from down the street and bother you for spare change. It's similar to Atlantic city in the sense that once you go off the grounds there is nothing remotely attractive about the surrounding. Go to Detroit or Windsor to get a better more well rounded experience. & the meal prices aren't even remotely worth the price. You get a better deals on the buffets in Vegas. If you're going spend your money on gambling, don't waste your time.

Went to the Casino on my last visit to Toledo. The Sunday brunch is delicious. So many selections to pick from and the price ($15.99) is very reasonable for what you get. The Casino is very clean. A huge selection of machines to play. Looking forward to going back.

I'm not a big fish when it comes to gambling. That being said, my husband and I like to go to casinos occasionally for a night out with friends or family. We are conveniently situated between Toledo and Detroit, so we've also been to all the casinos in Detroit. I like going to Hollywood because it's totally non-smoking, very clean, and easy to navigate around. Their parking garage is very well-lit, and we are usually able to park relatively close to the casino entrance. We have also used their valet parking, and that is also efficient. They have a good selection of games/machines available, and my husband likes playing craps there and enjoys the atmosphere. We belong to their rewards program and feel it is comparable to similar programs at the Detroit casinos in terms of receiving free play ( but we're not big/frequent players). Their employees are courteous and helpful when I've asked for assistance.We, along with our friends, tried the buffet restaurant once, and it was not that pleasant of an experience. However, I would be willing to try another of their restaurants in the future. Overall, I like Hollywood Casino. Their biggest draw for me is that it's totally non-smoking.

Visited for the first time. Found that the casino is brightly lit and very clean. They have several types of slot machines to choose from. The staff I spoke to were friendly and helpful. They have a few restaurants, but I didn't eat while I was there. There is a small gift shop in the casino. Parking is convenient. The casino is located right off of I-75. I will visit again.
