the planetarium

I've lived in Las Vegas for 20 years and didn't know we had a Planetarium, I went with my son's Cubscout's troop. I think the kids were really impressed with the entire experience. I will definetely will take them again. It was great!

It was a small room.. but that was okay. The part that could have been better was the light in the projector. The movie we saw looked like 50% dim and was a little fuzzy. It was a great movie though! Very scientific... about evolution. Vegas doesn't have a big science oriented community - and the funding will never go towards making this bigger/better. I'm glad it's here though.

This was not what I expected. Small planetarium, probably old. The program was just a movie - like a very small IMAX. The movie was about planets. Tiny gift shop. Our kids really liked it though and want to go back.
