This course is well-maintained and situated on the mountain slopes, which make it challenging but also interesting with some lovely views. At $179 per player, it's pricey, but provides a good round (I'm an average player). If you are in town for the season you can purchase a package. The practice range is somewhat clumsy with it's narrow pathway and plastic mats. But that would not deter us from playing again on the Championship Course.
Thank you for such a positive as well as constructive review! There are so many value-added benefits of enjoying a round of golf in the Tahoe Basin and we are delighted you chose to visit us! Sadly, hitting off mats at our driving range is the downside of our short season as it does not allow us to maintain natural grass. We take immense pride in our award-winning design and do our utmost keep our course in tip-top shape and we are so pleased you enjoyed your golfing experience! We look forward to your next visit.
WOW! What a fantastic review; it doesn't get much better than this! Although the Championship Course can be a real challenge, it sounds as though you are definitely up for it! And value is always and giant plus - thanks so much for taking time to give us this super positive review!!!
The course is beautiful and challenging. However, there are some issues.1.) If you book early (2 weeks in adv), you are charged a $15 booking fee that is NOT credited toward your green fees - this is ridiculous.2.) Range is mats. Never in my life have a played a $179/rd golf course and been forced to hit off mats on the range - this is ridiculous.3.) $179/rd. THIS is RIDICULOUS. Like I said, the course is beautiful - but so are the other courses in the area for almost half the price. Check out Gray's Crossing, Old Greenwood and Coyote Moon - ALL as nice as Incline and much more accurately priced.I don't know, maybe they think the view of one tiny sliver of the lake you get on ONE hole makes it worth 180 bucks. In my opinion, it does not.
AGREE! Yes indeed, the views are breathtaking! Thank you very much for taking time to give us such a special review. And it's so unique to feel as though you are in your own little slice of paradise with a little challenge as well among the trees. Thanks again and we hope to see you back really soon!
Thank you for the super nice review and for taking the time to tell others about our fabulous Championship Course! We apologize for the pine needles on the putting greens. We have 50 course maintenance personnel who are continually trying to deal with Mother Nature and sometimes she wins! We hope it didn't affect your game too much and hope you will come back and pay us another visit very soon!
Thanks for coming out. We are so glad you enjoyed our course! Twilight rates are good. If you want to play earlier, book your tee time on line at https://www.shopincline.com/Golf/Golf to save money.Cathy
I agree WHEN I hit the ball right it does seem to go forever. While you are in Incline be sure to check out the Mountain Course too.Fairways and Greens
Thank you for your review. We have to agree with you, our course is in beautiful shape. The Super Twilight rate after 4:30 is $1.50/hole for residents plus a $15 cart fee or $3.00/hole for non residents plus a $25 cart fee. Thanks for playing with us!
We are so glad that you enjoyed our course! We agree with you it is in fantastic shape. Come back and visit soon.
SweetpeaTruckee,Arn't we so lucky to live in this beautiful country with wonderful golf courses. Now if we could get the weather gods to give us a little more snow. It would help our courses for next year.Thank you for the nice review,Cathy
Tahoekat,If we could figure out how to make the season longer, we would. Well, other than global warming... Glad the greens were good to you. We have wonderful superintendents at both of our course.Won't be long and we will be out there again. Thanks for the review,Cathy
Hey Pehoward,I couldn't agree more, a bad day on the golf course is better than a good day anywhere else. and our golf course is one of the nicest ones out there. Thanks for the nice review!Cathy
When will the people of Incline wake up & get rid of the anarchist "BILL" and his pet John Nosick.Avoid this, there's plent of other places to play
We really enjoyed a beautiful day of golf at Incline Village. It was cart path only the day we played, but it still was a great experience and wonderful course. Fast greens and in was in gorgeous shape.
