This community theater is a true gem. I have seen three plays there, and am looking forward to seeing Dial M for Murder in December.

I knew this play from the movie so topping out Alan Alda and Ellen Burstyn would be a real challenge. But ALAN COYNE- “GEORGE" and REBECCA GRAYCE- “Doris” were so good that if they had played in the original movie, you would have not known the difference. Kuddos to the actors, the director and Benicia Old Time Theater for a really funny, yet serious production! Don't miss the opportunity to see this one!

At this time, the group is starting up the 50th spring season with the romantic comedy- "Same Time, Next Year". It opens April 18th and runs weekends to May 10, 2014. Kudos to the many volunteers who have put on wonderful productions since 1964 at the Historic BDES Hall in Benicia. It is always fun to come with a group- no host bar. Stairs- no elevator.

Great place to see a play! Great venue for a wedding reception or party. If you see a play there you will have great seats no matter where you sit.
