I have been to this winery in Lodi California twice now and both times have been amazed at the friendly service and great knowledge of wines. The pours are very generous and the building that is an actual organ is incredible. A little family history and friendly place.

An unexpected combination of a tasting led by the winemaker followed by an impromptu pipe organ concert...Winemaker Shaun Mac Kay obviously takes great pride in his craft. His enthusiasm is infectious!The tasting room houses a gigantic pipe organ originally installed in a San Francisco theater. Ask, and they will fire up this magnificent instrument for short concert.Be sure to buy some of the GMA (Grenache, Mourvedre, Alicante Bouschet.) The Zinsation dessert wine is a great deal at only $16!

What a real treat it is to visit this vineyard!The main visitor's area is set in a building that was built to house a sound studio from the old silent movies era. Built into the walls of the studio is a pipe organ. Be sure to ask to listen to a song when you visit!

Harmony is a fun winery to visit. The winemaker is frequently pouring the tastings and has a passion for his wine. A some point they will fire up the old pipe organ, which makes the walks vibrate. There wine is top notch and includes several varietals not normally found. I particularly enjoyed the Allacate.

The wine maker and his mother make good hosting for a varied group of wines. You'll not find another winery serving up its Alcante Bouschet. We bought it. The pipe organ and tasteful decor make this the most unusual winery in Lodi. Add this one to your tasting locations.
