I love the ambience of this pub. The crowd is great and the beer is undoubtedly great. There are benches outside which makes it for perfect day time drinking too ;)

Was happily surprised with this little pub. Great beer selection and staff were cool. They have an outside area for smoking, which seemed strange because while walking around for several days, we never saw anyone smoking! Now we know where they go to smoke. We enjoyed the back patio!!!Ambiance was decent, although felt a bit like a college bar with lower cafeteria style tables, which made it less English pub and more juvenile in feel. That being said, was a great place and staff were great. Will def be back

The Rose & Crown is a favorite beer pub of many in Palo Alto. Lots of good choices in their ever rotating beer list. Add in darts, TV's for the games, a patio, a decent menu, and you have my reason enough for an Excellent overall rating of this attraction.
