结婚圣地啊,据说至少要提前预约一两年才约到。教堂外部的壁画很好看,周边就是西班牙式的庭院,以及托斯卡纳风格的回廊。餐馆这所大学最值得一去的地方

Check out the organ in this church, amazing! This is a beautiful church. The stained glass windows and the architecture are terrific.

I've been here a few times during a visit to the Stanford campus. When on the campus, this is a must see. I love the mosaic on the front the of chapel. The stained glass windows are also nice.

This large, beautiful chapel is reminiscent of some churches I've seen in Italy. The building of it was guided by Jane Stanford, Leland's wife, and is worth seeing if you are ever in the area. However, if you can hear music performed there, it is a pure joy. The acoustics are phenomenal. My wife performed there with a women's compline group, Voces Angelorum, and their few voices filled the church, a choir of angels. It was an awesome, spiritual experience. Check the church's schedule for such events.

My husband is a choral conductor and has the opportunity to direct choirs in the Standford Memorial Church several times. It is a stellar church. Beautiful with amazing acoustics. We also attended a wedding in the church and it was beautiful! Worth visiting!

Inspiring and beautiful! We attended mass though the chapel is used for other services. Really enjoyed the Thanksgiving Service.

Great for a short visit or even to walk by. Its the centerpiece of the iconic view of Stanford University which you approach via a long Palm tree lined avenue, which leads onto a large grassy oval the size of one one and a half football fields, which then lead through a tall adobe and red tile style arch, into a cloistered courtyard and then into a huge red brick plaza surrounded by low mission style adobe buildings. In front of you the Memorial Church keeps looming larger and larger until you are right in front of the huge gold mosaic murals that cover the front of the building above the arched doorways. Inside is much of the same type of mosaic, along with warm wood, stained glass and a soaring cathedral like space-Catholic in style but non-denominational in its worship service. You can walk to it up Palm Drive from the University CalTrain station but although it looks close, its actually about a mile away. If you visit Stanford you have to see it, and if you can approach it from the end of Palm Drive so much the better!

We have visited Memorial Church numerous times. It was built by Jane Stanford between 1890 and 1933 in memory of her late husband Leland Stanford. The two of them were the founders of Stanford University. Leland Stanford was quite instrumental in the railroad, business, and government of the West.Memorial Church is a beautiful church with an amazing organ, It is a very active campus religious center which is welcoming to all students and faculty, as well as the greater public. We have attended special events there such as the Messiah Sing A Long in December, organ recitals, and have also attended at times their regular religious services. During Stanford Graduation, a special service is also held at Memorial Church regarding that joyous occasion. The staff there is stellar. For more information on what is currently going on at Memorial Church, we check their web site.

In center of Stanford campus there is a beautiful and European style church that every body should see that.each part of church has designed and built in memory of a member of Stanford family . unfortunately I wasn't lucky enough to hear choir but I have heard about that is amazing. Handcrafted work is awesome.

This is an icon on the Stanford campus. This church has qualities of a European cathedral. It is a must see!! Mosaic tile frames the inside of the church. It is resplendent in 20th century splendor and decor.Check it out!

It took me several trips to Stanford's campus to actually see the Church open, and last weekend while touring around Palo Alto and Stanford University with friends, we were lucky enough to walk into the choir's rehearsal at The Memorial Church of Stanford University, absolutely astonishing!

Dedicated in 1903 to Leland Stanford Sr, Jean Stanford gave this as a personal addition to the University. The two very large columns in this beautiful church have gold lettering tribute to Her mother as well as her husband .Although Jesus Christ is reflected on the outside with Faith Hope Charity and Love, this is not a Christian church, but a non denominational ceter that caters to the Stanford University community. I can only imagine how wonderful concerts are here. This church has daily and weekly programs serving everyone. I can't imagine that they accommodate all but they do. It reminds one of Italy the huge bronze doors, the commanding presence of a rather large altar, and maginifant windows everywhere one looks.Spend a few minutes for sure .....

Beautiful church located on the Stanford campus. Any visit to Stanford should include a visit. Loved the serenity of it all!

Thank you Stanford family for building this American version of a classical Florentine chapel and making it the center of the campus. Day or night, for church, music, or just walking around, the interior and exterior are both elegant and fit in perfectly with the surrounding area.
