Played Wyboo with friends during the polar vortex. We called it "polar golf". Very few out on the course. It was 39 at tee time and warmed up to 46. The course was fun to play and very fair. You have both water and sand bunkers to contend with. It was part of our Santee package and we all enjoyed the course.

Wyboo Golf Course is part of the Santee area of South Carolina. The golf course is one of the nicest courses we play on our yearly trip to South Carolina. It is very well manicured, the greens are perfect and there are not a ton of houses that surround the course. It is reasonably priced and a pure joy to get out in the morning and play a golf course that is like playing in a park. I look forward to enjoying a round of golf here every year.

This is one of our favorite courses in the Santee/Manning area. The personnel are friendly and work with your group to make sure you have a good time. Decent pro shop and normal golf course food. I have even played this course when I stayed in Florence as it is worth the 45 mile drive.

Nice golf and not too busy. All staff was very courteous and very attentive to our needs. We stayed at the villas onsite, which is right next door.

great layout. friendly staff. Nice course for a good price. Make sure you get good directions. Played it several times on vacation over the years. Now we live 45 min. away and make it over there at least once a year. Check out all the Santee Golf package courses. All good, especially Wyboo , Lake Marion(the best) and Santee Nat'l

Very nicely groomed and golfer friendly golf course. Intimidating first hole, make sure you pick the tee box that suits your abilities. The Marshalls I believe must do there job in return for play and in the three or four times we have played found them very helpful other than on one occassion had one who was on a power trip. After some discussion we convinced him that the slow play was occuring about four groups ahead of us and he took off and we didn't see him for the rest of the round.Pace of play did not change and there was no problem witht it anyway.

My sons and I all agreed that this course was the best of the four we played on a recent golf trip to Santee, SC. Three courses were included in our package and sight unseen I picked Wyboo as our fourth option. We were amazed at the excellent condition of their greens, nothing like the hard packed sand of the other courses. These greens rolled true and fast and were soft. This was the only course where we actually had ball marks to repair. The layout, like the other Santee courses, had too many dog-legs, but we adapted to that type of golf. The dog-legs made it interesting for the long hitters in our foursome as they took the risk and hit over the tree tops. One advantage to the number of dog-legs is that the foursome can all play from the same tee-box and choose their own course management. Our foursomes' handicap ranged from -6 to 36+ and we all had fun on the course. There are lots of bunkers and lots of variety on the hole layouts. A real pleasure to play and enjoy.I can't forget to mention the staff. The pro-shop guy was very friendly in helping us check in, use the range and fetched us from the range when an earlier tee time became available. The starter was phenominal, he greeted us warmly and provided us with plenty of local advice on the tricky holes. We will go back.
