Billie Creek is back open Saturdays 10am-4pm and Sunday noon-4pm! Almost back to its glory days!! Great living history and nice unique gifts. The bakery was nice as well

The Village is closed and is for sale. This could be a profitable enterprise if managed correctly. It could be a wonderful living history park.

The village has been closed for several years now. While the buildings still stand, the performers and seasonal actors are long gone.

Great web site, went there but it appears to be abandoned and in disrepair The ticket booths are open so you can explore the open covered bridges and buildings but all exhibits are closed.

I used to take my family to Billie Creek Village each and every time I went to the Covered Bridge Festival. One year, I took my granddaughter there, only to find out that it was closed. What a disappointment to me!! We walked around anyways. The Print Shop was opened so we entered it and listened to him for the last time, I'm sure. I alway bought their food and the souvenirs, which were less costly than the ones in the area towns. It was quite personable. With all of its history, I don't understand why a group of investors can't purchase that property. Even the area towns should be able to do that, and then, split the profits. Maybe it's because they are too stingy and don't want to share?? It's a real shame. Someone please help.

They are back open a few days a week. It looks like they spruced it up a bit too. Call and check days for the days they are open.

We decided to check out Billie Creek Village during the covered bridge festival; it was a great place to stop for the afternoon. You are free to stroll the village and explore the buildings at your own pace. The "villagers" were very friendly and knowledgeable, and some building offer things to sell. Make sure to check out the general store for some great rock candy. They have a few animals on the premises that you can feed and a "pet" goat that roamed freely through the village. The village also includes three covered bridges. All and all it was a great stop and well worth the visit.
