What's not to like ? Beautiful River, lots of recreation, close to downtown....Site of the annual NORTHLAND MARDI GRAS, the 3rd weekend of July... The largest summer celebration in Northern Wisconsin

This is were the hold the Northland Mardi Gras in July each year. It has a beach and a boat lauch and several picnic pavilions. It's a nice little park.

This park is well set up for a family picnic and you can go swimming. They have Open air shelters that you can rent for the medium sized groups.

There is a huge Playground,awesome fishing right from shore or boat landings to launch your boat on the river, and swimming all at one place. Lots of picnic tables to eat a picnic too.

We enjoyed the scenic Flambeau River! Park was bustling with active kids & families. There is music in the park every Thursday at 6pm in the summers.
