This is a wonderful facility! Clean. Friendly Staff. Good food (for concession stand food!) and well designed to accommodate crowds of large sizes. What can we do to keep the Big 12 Tourney in Kansas City! This is the best place for it! We love the Spring Center!
Went to the Sprint Center with my church yourth group as we went to see the Universal Soul Circus. It's an amazing place. They have a lot of things going on and I look forward to going back again to attend another event.
Attended a concert at Sprint Center in Sept. 2014. Parking was no problem. Lots of options, just plan ahead. The venue itself was very nice and easy to enter and exit.
Saw Blake Shelton here and the concert was amazing. The sound was perfect and was an amazing show. Everyone there was very helpful. Will continue to go.
Our family writes a blog : ToyeBox.weebly.com and the Sprint Center is one of our favorite venues! The staff is always friendly and helpful, the bathrooms are always clean, and every seat has a great view. Here are some tips for your visit:1. Arrive EARLY!- People are really annoyed when you are looking for your seat after the show begins2. Plan your intermission- skip the bathroom at intermission...the lines are huge! Go before the show and use intermission to chit chat and grab a drink!3. Respect the rules. Some performances do not allow photography or flashes. Ahem...this includes cell phones...ahem.4. My favorite eats is the hawaiian pork sandwich at the farmland stand. Service can be a bit slow, but the sandwich is so yum.
My friends and I went to watch the Professional Bullriding Tour and had a great time (and we are not cowgirls). The Sprint Center was extremely clean and the process to enter the arena was relatively easy and efficient (the giant belt buckles from most of the patrons caused the medal detectors to continually go off, causing some delay). We purchased tickets at the top of the arena and they weren't bad seats. We could still see all the action and access to the seats were pretty easy. My only complaints were the food (overpriced and poor quality) and access between the levels. Signage is not clear and they have one-direction escalators so you have to hunt for an elevator to get back down during the event.
I did not think it was fair or to anyone's advantage to make people get out of an ALREADY FORMED line on a FREEZING day to take a lottery ticket because they don't want campers. I was #5 in line & been in line 40 minutes already. Then was told to take a ticket. Now I'm #50 something. The people that came after she passed out tickets didn't get a ticket. WHAT WAS THE ADVANTAGE TO DO IT THIS WAY?
The Sprint Center gets all the biggest acts and shows that come through the country. There are always great events for concert buffs. The Sprint Center is very modern and has great sight lines.
This is a large storefront in downtown KC which is the flagship store for Spring. A nice feature is all the striking graphics, mainly on a sports theme. The shop has mobile phones on display from all the major brands so it's a good place to pick a phone. There is also a large selection of accessories. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable.
Sprint center was a very good experience with my boyfriend and I. I would tell anyone to go here and enjoy an event. however it is somewhat pricey.
We always have a great time at the Sprint Center. The suites are wonderful - spacious, great food, wonderful service, private seating. The regular seats are roomy enough to not feel crowded. We just attended a concert, and did find that our seats did not provide a complete view of the stage, and the screens didn't show what was happening on the whole stage. They only stayed on close-ups of the main performer. That was disappointing, but we ended up asking permission and receiving it, to move around to different seats that weren't taken. Great staff at the Sprint Center. Several even offered to take pictures of our group for us. You can walk from several downtown hotels, and there are plenty of places to eat nearby. Do your homework about the security measures before you go, so you are prepared for what items are prohibited. It's always a humorous, eye-rolling event watching people going back to their trucks to leave pocket knives when coming to the PBR.
Sprint Center is a great and versatile venue. Absolutely do not sit in the upper, upper seats, any where else is great! Located in the Power and Light District with lots of restaurants
Have gone here multiple times, great location with easy access. Plenty of foid/beer options. Be prepared for delays because downtown KC is a mess with street construction. Good idea is to park in lot East of Sprint Center off Oak St for $5, pretty amazing if u can score a spot.
I would like to lodge a complaint. The way the pit passes and tickets are being handled by the Sprint Center and AXS are deceptive for the Monster Jam event at the Sprint Center in Kansas City, MO. We have went to Supercross in St. Louis for years and when pit passes are purchased for the day of the event you are allowed in the back up until the final races start. With that being said, the tickets to pits at Monster Jam were sold in conjunction with a ticket for that day. There is nothing on the pit pass that states when entrance will be cut off. We showed up at around 12:20, we tried to buy another pit pass and were told at the booth that sales were cut off at 12:10. We then went inside only to discover that we would not be allowed in because 12:15 was the end of pit entrance. There was a group of us that were outside complaining about the pit passes not indicating that the event ended at a specific time on the tickets or that admittance would limited to the time period of 11:00 to 12:15. Please explain, logically, why you would sale a pit pass up to 12:10 for something that ends at 12:30! If there was a cut off why was this not included on the tickets? This is not like a concert or the Monster Jam event where the end time is unknown. I have attended concerts and there always people who come in late, sometimes by as much as an hour and they were still admitted as long as they had purchased at ticket. You knew that you were cutting off pit pass sales at 12:10 because no one would get in after 12:15.We were there for our grandson's 6th birthday party, all of the kids were disappointed. I believe that we should have our money refunded, we bought 7 of these for a total of $108.50. It is not like we left you with seats that you could not sell. You simply walk around and see the trucks. I can understand the policy of no refunds on seat sells, because once sold you lose out on the seat price. But this part of the event is something all together different, no seat was sold, it is a large group of people moving about to see all of the trucks, and the end time was not communicated on the tickets. The Sprint Center, AXS, or whom ever is getting enough money for the tickets, especially when fees piled on top of the price of a ticket. By the way, what is a convenience fee? What was convenient about this for your customer? There is one parting thing that leaves me fuming. The lady, Clarisha, who denied our admittance condescendingly, implied we were idiots by saying “1,500 other people figured it out!” She then told us if we had a problem with it to go back out to the ticket booth and we would be refunded our money, which of course was a lie. The manager of the Sprint Center Ticket Office, Andrew Winkelbauer needs a lesson in customer service. Every time we tried to discuss the situation he simply talked over us. The Sprint Center staff's customer service is inexcusable to nonexistent. I have never been treated worse by anyone who was supposed to be customer service.
This is a great event center with plenty of seats, concession areas, and restrooms. Went to the Big Twelve Basketball tournament as well as some conferences. They have lots of venue items from concerts to sports. It's also within walking distance of many local restaurants. Plan to arrive a little early since security for the center requires a bit of time.
