We were not so impressed with the wines. We thought the vines and the wines needed a little more ageing. The older the vine the better the wine so these just needed some time.

We came up last weekend. It was snowing pretty bad and they stayed open. Which was great since we had traveled 2 hours the night before to make it there. The staff was so nice. I loved the wines and the olive oils. They had some wonderful food also. I can't wait to come back. We will definitely make the trip down again to get more wines. There wasn't anything I wasn't pleased with. Absolutely love this place.

Beautiful and panoramic setting; delicious wines and a decent variety of tastings; extremely cozy yet professional--a wonderful place to spend an afternoon. Will certainly be back! Thank you all!

They have a beautiful wine tasting room, where they also do olive oil tastings, which was a pleasant surprise. Nice variety, and the wines are pretty good. The olive oils were good also. Very knowledgeable and helpful staff also.

My husband and I stopped by on a recommendation from Mediterranean Cellars (this is the son of their owners). We enjoyed Meiterranean's wines so we thought that we would give it a try. Molon Lave is a younger winery and it showed in their wines. I found them to be on the bitter/too bold side. I did however, like their take on their rose. The Kokineli was AMAZING! I would be willing to give this winery a second chance.

The wine was good and the staff were very friendly too. It's definitely worth a drive into the Virginia countryside.

A little off the beaten track between Warrenton and Culpeper but well worth the drive. $5 tastings. Lots of seats inside..nice fireplace (wish they had a couch in front of fire). Good wines plus hot mulled cider. They also have oil tastings. Nice deck for when weather warms.

It always upsets me when a vineyard overcharges for a wine tasting. This is not the case at Molon Lave. The tasting was five dollars to taste nine wines. The tasting room is a large open area. The patio over looks the pond and the vineyard.

Nice tasting room and a pond with geese. Lots of candles inside and olive oil tastings. Greek music playing through the speakers. We bought a bottle of cab. Staff was very good.

Molon Lave is a beautiful vineyard. We pitstopped after skydiving nearby at the DC Skydiving Center for a tasting and ended up purchasing several wines. In addition to the wine tastings, Molon Lave offers olive oil tastings as well. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. If you're in the area, I'd recommend stopping!

This winery and grounds are beautiful. There is a lake, a pavilion and a large outdoor area to explore. The staff was friendly and very informative. I did not care too much for the Greek style wines however. Just did not appeal to my palate. But there was a really good apple sangria that we liked enough to buy a glass and sit outside. And they also have some delicious olive oils to taste and sell.

My husband and I were given a recommendation to go to Molon Lave. This was our first visit and it was delightful. The grounds are beautiful and so is the interior of this spacious, beautifully decorated building. The staff was very friendly and knowledgable, clearly dedicated to provided great customer service. The tastings was well done. The pours were incredibly generous, you can definitely share and the staff doesn't mind. The wines were all good and we had a hard time deciding what to buy, which is rare for us. Usually one wine stands way about the rest. They let us revisit the ones we were trying to decide on, which was very nice. They also had a summer sangria which was included in the tasting and it was perfectly refreshing and not too sweet,,as sangria so tend to be. Outside food is allowed, which is a huge benefit for us. We met up with friends and chatted the afternoon away in this beautiful place! They clearly have the space for large events. This has now floated to the top of our favorites and we will be back sooner than later! A must try!

We stopped by and did a tasting on a Sunday and really enjoyed their selection. The staff did a great job explaining the various wines and even let us re-taste a couple to help us make a better decision. The grounds are nice looking and well-kept. Their prices are decent as well and the tasting room is huge and very nicely decorated.

We have gone here twice, once with my parents and once with friends. Both times we have been pleased with the service. They are always sure to explain the wines if you have questions about them, and they do it with a smile and a pleasant attitude. The cost is right, and they even throw in a plate of crackers so that you can clear your palate during the tasting. The wines are GOOD. Several of my hard-to-please wine friends enjoy the wine here, and that's saying something. They also let us sample a sangria that was not on the tasting list, and this happened both times we came to visit. It was soooooo yummy. My favorite part is the ATMOSPHERE. You can bring a picnic basket, buy a bottle of their wine, and enjoy your food and their wine outside at one of their tables. There is a pond nearby, the vineyards themselves are beautiful, and it sure helps if the sun is shining. Overall, love this place and will be back soon.
