froggy wines

We like to taste different wines, so decided to stop in on a road trip. It was completely worth the stop! It's tiny. Not fancy, but very friendly and fun! The owners/wine makers are there working and were happy to tell us all about what they were doing. We tend to like sweet wines and theirs are great! You taste the grape, but also have a sweet finish! The Huntsville Red was excellent. We also got one of the chocolate ports to serve with dessert at an upcoming party! Expect to spend 15-25 minutes - it's a quick stop. Also, the road out there is a bit rough, so I wouldn't try it in a tiny sports car! They have lots of cute frogs on display if you want a cute photo op.

Froggy Wine is just getting started, and will grow with time. Right now, it is only open on weekends. They have wine tasting, and a porch for sitting and sipping. It offers a relaxed comfortable visit with the owners. They currently have four wines and have submitted a fifth (no pun intended). The star is the Chocolate Retreat, a chocolate raspberry port, that I give as a gift. You may find me there.
