This surprising little nature preserve offers a quick jaunt around a beaver pond with relatively easy footing most of the way. Kids will enjoy looking for the residents of the pond, and the views towards Stinson mountain are wonderful. Great spot for kids.

Was traveling for work in another office and saw the signs..a perfect lunchtime walk. I was able to quickly do the whole loop in about 45 minutes. There are alot of roots and some rocks along with alot of boards to walk across. Its a great place to see birds with some great bog views.

This bog is a nice area to visit. It has a nice easy 1 mile walk around the area. It has a point to walk to in the bog to view wildlife. However we did not see any at the time we went. There is a huge beaver dam to look at which was interesting

This is a great short walk (~1 mile). Great if you are interested in ferns. Many are labeled as to type. There is an observation deck if you wish to sit and watch wild life. A pair of binoculars and a camera may also be nice to have. It is the kind of place one will not tire of. I plan to go back again.

It was 5$ on the honor system (box on the building). You walk about a mile around a "bog" or pond. Didn't really see any animals, but it was a good 1.5 hour "hike". The one negative would be that you have to walk over "planks" over open water, only a couple of times, and if you have balance issues or are afraid of the water, this is not for you.

The bog is a great place to wander, look for birds and wild life. The guide that you can pick up at the kiosk before you start does a good job of describing what there is to see. Exhibits, talks and walks are often planned during the spring, summer and fall.

Really interesting bog area. May run into a moose and other wildlife that make the bog a stopping spot. Short walk around the bogs with nice pathways but may be challenging for anyone with balance issues due to the number of roots on the dirt trails.

...because it is easy to. We drove around for a bit before finding the correct turn off Quincy Road. Turn into Quincy Bog Road, and while it may look like you are driving through a residential area, you'll eventually see signage for Quincy Bog Natural Area. What a beautiful place! We got there in time to catch the sunset over the bog. It takes about an hour to get around the bog, but we took our time snapping photos, navigating the footpath (sometimes guessing which wood plank would stay and which would sink), and enjoying the beauty and peace of nature. We saw a blue heron and the beaver dam. Definitely worth a visit while you're in the Plymouth area. The trail entrance sign states that only foot traffic is allowed. Wear sturdy shoes you don't mind getting wet/muddy. Some of the footbridges may sink low into the water and some may be slippery. There are wooden benches around the bog where one can sit and enjoy the peacefulness of the bog.
