This theater has been part of the Frank Theater franchise for close to a year, but has only put a banner over the old theater sign. When we were buying our tickets at their automated kiosk, we overheard a man who had purchased tickets (from the se kiosk) for a show they weren't having and they would not give him a refund. Before the end of our movie, my wife and I were both sweating. In the heat of summer, they DIDN'T HAVE THE AIR CONDITIONER ON! To our chagrin, the air was broken and had been for a while. The owners are too cheap to fix it. How do I know this? The MANAGER told me. Needless to say, I'll never be coming here again while this franchise owns the theater.
Theater at Fort Henry Mall is completely renovated. It's an entertainment center inn addition to movies. Theaters are big enough for a bunch of friends, small enough to be an experience.
This movie house took over for another movie house. Was closed for a long time while doing improvements. Although the seats, carpet are nice not much has changed and you can hear the other movies while watching yours.
Great small theater, one of the first to go digital in the northeast Tennessee market, and even expand to over ten screens, but the company has recently pulled out of the Kingsport Town Center, ostensibly to build a larger free-standing theater like they have done in other markets. Which means that Kingsport is without a theater, at least for a period of time, during 2013. Not the best news for a city that just hit 50,000 (or was it 50,801?)
We really enjoy the small size of the individual theaters here, it cuts down on too much noise. The food was fresh,as well as good fountain beverages. The concession prices are a little stiff, but they have several group options. As always clean, good sound and picture quality, minimal noise during movie showing.
I go often because it's closeby, but the seats are a little worn and the screens are smaller than some others in the area. Not bad, though.
This is a fairly typical multi-theater setup within Fort Henry Mall, in Kingsport TN. They seem to have a better selection of movies than their competition and it is nice to go shopping while you wait for the movie to start.
some theatres good and some poor. Overall the best theatre in the local area but that doesn't say much
Small, old. Clean. Excellent movie selection, usually. Outrageously expensive, especially for kids.
Sometimes sound from movie next door interferes with quiet spot in movie you're in. The prices for tickets and concessions have made regular movie going a thing of the past for many families....try a matinee before 5pm to save money and eat lunch first!!
Marquee has really high prices but good movies. i really like the popcorn but the dip and dots melt really fast whats up with that.
The Marquee is in the mall they have 11screens ( small) and stadium seats. the staffis friendly and the popcorn is good.
