Local baseball at a great price! Be sure to check out the Chattanooga Lookouts at AT&T field. Plenty of refreshments and even a beer garden.
On the hill very near the Tennessee Aquarium and IMAX Theater. Do the museums and see a game with the Chattanooga Lookouts, minor league Dodgers farm team. See the next major league stars on their way up. Affordable family fun. It can be very hot in the summertime at game start, but usually cools down when the sun sets.
This is an inexpensive and fun place to take the family. It's not an overwhelming sized venue. The food is priced well, and if you go when they do the fireworks, it's a double treat
Home of the Chattanooga Lookouts, Double-A minor league team affiliated with..well, I can't keep track anymore, they keep changing major league affiliations. The park itself is located in downtown Chattanooga and is fairly small by ballpark standards, but there's never a space issue. It's a minor league team and they're usually so-so (although they did make the playoffs in 2014!). The real fun is in going with family or friends for an evening at the ballpark and getting some classic park food - hamburgers, hot dogs, nachos, etc. General Admission is around $3-4 so you won't break the bank. The best part to me is the view! As you look beyond the outfield you see Signal Mountain and the iconic Chattanooga skyline. It really is magical at sunset and worth going to.
Great minor league baseball park! Easy access. There is a great little spot in the stands above right field that offers outside/inside tables, a snack bar with burgers, hot dogs, nachos and the like and you can wash it all down with ice cold beer, cokes, etc. Did I mention the FREE popcorn? You can even run a tab if you like. For a great evening of baseball come out and support our Chattanooga Lookouts!
You can't go wrong with inexpensive baseball tickets, food and free fireworks on Friday nights. My husband and I come to see the Lookouts play anytime we are in town. The players are also very accommodating if you have a child that wants an autograph. Great fun for the whole family!
Its almost MLB baseball, some high prospects travel through this place. Saw Puig before he blew up in L.A. a year ago and the ball park is nice and cost is very resonable.
I'm not the biggest baseball fan but overall I had an enjoyable time. I would have rated it higher but we sat in the wrong section and sun was in my eyes for about an hour until it went behind the trees. If you like baseball, go..it's a cheap, family friendly activity just be mindful on what time of day it is and where the sun is at that point because if it had been an afternoon game..I probably wouldn't have been able to stay.
Ballpark is built in a horrible spot needs a lot of updates people working there were rude and don't know what they are talking about wasn't worth the long trip
I loved watching the Lookouts! There are many different concession stand options and the mascots/entertainment are great. Definitely go to a game if you get a chance.
Attending a Lookouts game is a blast! We live in Atlanta but would much rather drive up and go to a Lookouts game than go to an Atl Braves game. This is also a Great value for a family outing, and there is so much extra stuff going on that even if you or your kids aren't huge baseball fans then you will still have a blast.
Great little ballpark right downtown. Can get steamy on the first base side (and sun blinded) during a warm summer evening. But have a cold one and enjoy a very reasonably priced night of baseball.
We went to a warm up game absolutely loved it , the in game entertainment was a hoot , I am british so not a sport we would normally see , ground is not huge and is reasonably well maintained . Definitely worth a visit if your In the area, very cheap to get in as well
I go to many minor league baseball games, and the atmosphere is great. The food choices are the standard ballpark items: hot dogs, burgers, chicken tenders, etc. There is no signature item, but that's ok. The prices are very reasonable, and the entire staff is very friendly and helpful.
In my opinion minor league ball is so much more fun than major league ball. The only downside here is that it can be stifling in the heat of the summer. Doesn't seem to be situated right for the afternoon sun and the steps would be rough for some. But outside of that it is a fun park. Chattanooga is lucky to have the Lookouts.
