My fiance bought me a wine tasting on groupon for Valentine's day. The staff was incredible and the wine had the down home flavor you would expect from a Kentucky wine. The Kentucky Tradition and the Black and Blue are a must try!

This winery was an absolutely enjoyable experience! Staff were friendly and very helpful when it came to knowing their stuff about the different wines and able to pick out a stellar choice for us to bring home from us describing our tastes. The tastings were inexpensive and well worth the money we spent! I would recommend this as one of your stops if you aren't able to hit all of Bullit County's wineries!

We saw the winery on a PBS special & decided to check it out ! Such a good decision & a wonderful way to spend a Sunday afternoon . The ladies & Lili couldn't have been any nicer! Every tasting was better than the previous one & very generous with the pouring and you get to keep the glass. Cheese tray was delish & the hardest part was deciding which bottles to share among the 5 of us. Solution? Take some home with you! Will return soon & often! Looking forward to spring & summer on patio with music.

I visited this winery with my mother-in-law during a recent trip to KY. They have two dogs on the property, Lilly and Lacy, who are both very sweet and enjoy greeting people. There is a $5 tasting fee which buys you several tastings. Their Rose of Sharon was really different. I would recommend going to this winery.

After spending a very enjoyable afternoon at the Wine Fest in Shepherdsville, KY we decided to visit some of the local wineries and Brooks Hill Winery was the perfect way to end our day of wine tasting. The facility is very nice and well stocked with wines for all taste preferences. Our host was very knowledgeable about their products and was very helpful making suggestions of varieties we might like to try. The tasting was $5 and you get to keep your glass, which is always very nice. Our group favorite was the Black and Blue.Very enjoyable place to visit. Highly recommended.

We stopped at the Brooks Hill Winery for a tasting. The owner Mike was very knowledgeable, passionate and friendly. The wines were very good. Another guest's car had broken down so Mike called a tow truck and helped the guests find a hotel for the night. Since it was close to closing time and we were there too, he stayed late to let us do the tasting. The wines were very good - especially the sweeter ones (depends upon your palate). We bought half a case to take home.

Gail is a great hostess and very knowledgable about the wines and vineyard. There are a variety of wines to chose from for 5 tastings. The $5 fee is very reasonable especially when you give your glass. We were glad we were able to meet Mike, the owner. A very welcoming and relaxing winery. All the wines we sampled had good flavor. Would highly recommend a stop.

Recently went to Brooks Hill Winery for a tasting flight with cheese tray. Tray had cheeses, crackers, hummus, pita chips, and black olives--was very tasty and filling. The wines were all very delish--the trend to the semi and sweet side--which I like. Favorites--Bailey's Blush, Rose of Sharon, Lilli's Red, Black and Blue. Tried Strawberry, but it just didn't quite suit me for some reason. They have music on their covered patio on Saturday evenings during the summer--didn't get to stay--will do so next time. Brooks Hill Road winds up the hill to the winery--don't speed or you'll drive right on by!

Have gone to a couple of weekend concerts there. Nice wines and a delightful way to spend the evening, bring a picnic basket and enjoy.

Enjoyed the relaxing atmosphere & bands.Participated in the Breast Cancer fundraiser which is a cause that is very near and dear to my heart. I bought the Rose of Sharon wine in which I dedicated to my dear Aunt Sharon. Beautiful place on a hill of vineyards

Not a bad place for a small winery. Owners seemed friendly and their winery dog, Lili, was even more friendly. A little out of the way, but a pleasant place.

The wines are great, the staff and owners are helpful and friendly, and the winery dog is precious. We love getting together with friends in the warmer months to share some wine, food, and laughs while listening to music. It's also a fun place to visit for a tasting and to pick up a few extra bottles for the wine rack.

I am writing this because we went to an event, and it said on website to bring chairs. However, we got there 2 hours before music began and every table was being "saved" by placing one item on every table. We felt like that was wrong. The wine was ok..had better at another bullitt co, winery..we ordered a bottle of cold wine, it was not that cold .no cheese plates. you can purchase cheese and crackers , nothing special, can buy from krogers, no fun at all,, left before band started playing.

We love going alone or more often with friends and sitting under the shelter, listening and dancing to the entertainment. A variety of wines to taste and always finding several that I like and have to choose which one to drink there and take another home.
