pelican state fishing charters - day tours

Had a fantastic day on Little Lake a very good catch with our grandson, a lot of fish and very fun day

I have always wanted to catch a redfish and when we came to New Orleans I found pelican state charters. Capt Dave provided a top notch experience in an amazingly beautiful place. The conditions were windy the day we fished but capt Dave's knowledge of the water and currents put us on fish. My wife and I caught several fish and I caught 3 fish in the 7 to 8 lb range. We will be back for sure.

We had such a great fishing experience with Pelican State Fishing Charters last year that we decided to return and make this an annual trip! Captain Dave is a knowledgeable fishing guide! He knows how to put you on the fish! His patience and sense of humor helped make our experience even better. Dave and his wife Jill are terrific hosts and provided us with a wonderful home-cooked meal! We definitely would recommend booking a day tour with Pelican State Fishing Charters !

If you choose to stay overnight, the food is delicious and plentiful! But, there are too many candy bowls around! LOL Thanks again, Captain Dave and Jill for another terrific fishing trip!

Capt Dave brought us straight to the Reds!! Not only the reds but the specks,drum, sheep heads etc. The lodging was clean and comfortable. The food was delicious!! Capt Dave and his wife Jill can cook up an awesome mouth watering pot of shrimp étouffée as well! I will be back!

Our fishing experience at Pelican State Fishing Charters was excellent! The fishing was amazing and the hospitality was spectacular!! We will definitely book another trip soon!!!
