My grandmother's house was next store to the Newton house. In the 50's I lived next door with my grandparents.The house was always a mystery. I got to go inside and learned of the history of this home. It is worth the visit. My grandmother's home burnt down in the late 50's early 60's.

Historic, (by US standards) but interesting neverthless tour, by the Director. The house had been moved by Murphy Oil about 200 yards to its present location, but you'd never know.

Great place for parties and events. Neat house, roomy, back yard is great place for outdoor parties. It's a great part of El Dorado's history.
