Kimball's have always been known for their huge homemade ice-cream which is first rate. They also have a sit down restaurant as part of their huge gift shop and outside tables to eat lunch fare and ice cream in the warmer weather. But, that is not all. They have such a fun Miniature Golf course, driving range and farm animals. It's easy to spend hours here and the kids will go crazy.
Very nice place to visit with bumper boats, nice mini golf and a newer arcade. They have a really nice gift shop with lots of great finds. The food is excellent as far as fried seafood and burgers go. Their clams are really good. Their ice cream is to die for. Humongous portions and so creamy!!
Kimball's has evolved over the past several years adding Mini Golf, golf course, bumper boats, outdoor casual dining, coffee & gift shop, as well as their delicious ice cream. Also opened a location in Lancaster, MA where they have car shows AND delicious ice cream!!!
We generally go to Kimball Farm for the ice cream. In fact, we've been to all four locations. Westford is the only location with all the bells and whistles. The debate arose when we got to the ticket counter - bumper boats or mini golf? We decided mini golf would take longer and be more competitive. We were right! I must admit, we were taken aback by the cost of mini golf ($12 each for five adults), but we so seldom get to go out together as a family, that we sucked it up and paid it. Let me add that Saturdays are b.u.s.y. Supposedly you can't have groups of more than four on the course. We did. I don't think it slowed anyone down. We did feel rushed by the family behind us as their children didn't want to play so much as get through the course as fast as they could. Part of the course goes over the bumper boats, which did look like a good time. Maybe next time. I think we took about 30 minutes. The course was challenging (for me!) and interesting. No windmills, though. It was definitely clean and in good repair. We saw one employee out on the course, I would guess making sure everything was going well and staying the way it's supposed to. I would recommend the amusements, as long as you have the money. They also had a handicap accessible portion of the course. It was only 9 holes as I recall, but cost a bit less, too.
This is a great family attraction. There is very tasty, very large ice creams, other food like fried clams and ice cream, bumper boats, batting cages, mini golf and an arcade. If you want to go on a lot of things it can add up for a family of 4 though.
This was a great place to go and spend the day. Our 8-year old grandson had so much fun and so did we. Food was a little on the expensive side (but the portions were more than enough) as were the fees for some of the attractions, but they have "bundle" packages that helped - we may bring our own food next time. All in all, a great day and we absolutely loved the bumper boats - that alone was worth the drive
Plenty of flavors and choices and lots of activities for the entire family. Also just a nice place to sit and relax. Nice gift shop too.
Almost every game is 1 or 2 dollars. Has a card system which rips you off if the first swipe doesn't work. Stressful and not fun with kids under 10.
Has a lot to offer for all ages. Pony rides, animal show, mini golf, driving range, batting cages. Now to the good stuff and why my wife and I go, the food! Great seafood, lobster clams and much more. Then there is the ice cream. We go to the Westford location, but the others I am sure won't disappoint.
I'm glad we had gone to at least say we've been there. We had gone on a Monday during the summer and it was VERY crowded. We played both mini golf courses and on the second one, there was a 10-15 minute wait between every hole. There was an employee walking around the golf course, we assumed asking people to speed up. However, it seemed like he was looking for shade just like everybody else. The one item that I believe could be improved is having a one price for all the activities. As it stands now, you have to pay separate admission for each experience.
I haven’t been to Kimball’s since last year....what a place to go, even to people watch. Just like Disney World in a country setting. So many activities to choose from. Driving range, pitch and putt, two mini golfs, animals and pony rides, gift shop, bumper boats, batting cages, and of course the ICE CREAM! also a grill now with fried clams, even beer...The old parking lot is now hosting two Huge tents with seating, guitar singer on the weekends. Two huge bathrooms are also helpful...great place..plan on spending a few bucks but everyone is nice, happy...a great spot to hold a family party or corporate events with large party tents and two volleyball courts. You cannot love this place!
We went to kimball a farm a few times . Its good especially In fall to hang out be outdoors snack and play mini golf . Its great for family
Great time here playing mini golf, browsing the country store and finishing off with delicious icecream. Will be back!!
I have been visiting Kimball Farm since I was a child. It began as just an ice cream stand, but has grown to so much more. The ice cream is still as delicious as ever and the servings (I always get the kiddie cone) are huge. There's so much more than ice cream though - golfing, deli, seafood grill, gift shop etc. It's well worth the visit. Oh and there's a petting zoo also. Great place for a family visit.
Kimball Farms has a little bit of everything. Fantastic ice cream. A good gold course. Bumper boats and an arcade. And one of the best mini-golf courses in the area. This is a great place to go with friends to have an awesome time.
