What an amazing experience. As a mom, I don't take time to pamper myself, but I am so glad that I booked the Red Raspberry Soak and Scrub along with the Aroma Fusion Massage for both my friend and I. Upon arriving, we were greeted with an exceptional staff. The ladies spa area was so relaxing and inviting. We honestly did NOT want to leave. The tub soak involved some essential oils. My skin felt so incredibly soft before she even started the scrub. I had fresh pineapple to eat while soaking. After our pampering was over, we sat in the coed lounge that has a beautiful warm fireplace and comfy seating. We ordered some champagne and the best chocolate covered strawberries! If you have time, book a service at this spa! I know I will go back!!

The massage there is pretty good, but the hot tub area is great, especially if you just want to hang out with your girl friends. Each side has its own hot tub.

I have eczema so can't use the normal essential oils the massage therapist use. I've gone to several spas where I've explained I need them to use the coconut oil I brought with me because it doesn't cause a flair up. They usually try to convince me to use their oil and treat me like a nut case. At ARA they were so understanding and accommodating that it made the whole experience so much better than I've ever had before. And, Zoe, the massage therapist was great. Really listened to my special need areas and concentrated on those. Also, Abbey at the front desk was very sweet and accommodating. They had cool face towels with eucalyptus but she knew that might cause me to have a problem. So, she prepared three special cloths just for me and brought them to the relaxation room in ice so they would stay cool. And also the facility is beautiful with sauna, steam room, jacuzzi and the most incredible shower I've ever seen. If you are in Black Hawk do yourself a favor and treat yourself to ARA.

This spa is like nothing we have seen. It is so nice and relaxing and top notch. The ladies spa area with the big hot tub spa with candles all around was wonderful. There is relaxing music while you can sit on a cozy lounge chair and the steam room and sauna are the best. There is a lounge as you wait for your massage or service with snacks, lemon water, relaxing music and fireplace. The staff are all so very nice. I had a facial with Anne and she was wonderful. Felt so refreshed and relaxed when I left there.

Spent 4 wonderful days at Ameristar and Mother's Day morning enjoyed a relaxing massage at the Ara Spa. Sheila did an amazing job! Will definitely request her again when we visit. My husband also had praises for Zoe. The facility was clean, spa large and inviting. Looking forward to our next visit.

My husband and I had a couples massage and it was so relaxing. We will definately do this again. Will recommend it to my friends. Nice facility.

I truly expected "snooty" and got "paradise". The spa was welcoming, warm, inviting and truly amazing. From the water with fresh fruit to the relaxing jacuzzi area to the amazing massage rooms - this was a treat unlike any other. I never wanted to leave.

Top notch, pretty reasonable..... My wife and mother enjoyed a great massage and spa. The are only open from 10-7.
