Great staff and loose machines. Drawings all the time. The bartenders are the most friendly of any casino.

This place has the old coin slots, very loud, very exciting and very fun. You can lo use the modern slots they have a bit of something for everyone. The tables are low minimums and friendly staff.

The employees are friendly, the waitress was outstanding. The gambling was ok. Machines are pretty tight overall.

I play slots and did not play table games, but had a good time. I did not leave with more money in my pocket, but I didn't lose so fast that I didn't have some real fun. Plus, this is a great old town that dates back to the Gold Mining days of Colorado. Such a great town to visit and walk from casino to casino and just take in the sites.

I wish they had a hotel. Many would stay there. I liked they layout game selection and niceness of the dealers.

On more than one occasion, I have had assistant managers treat me rudely by giving me the hand to the face and walking away and not answering questions, and by insinuating that I touched a decoration and that adults act like children and break them. After leaving a message for Mr. Brian Cloud, or whatever the head managers name is, I never got a response or an apology. It has made me not gamble there as much as I used to. I want to gamble at a place where I feel welcome and respected. Not here!

This is about Patrick, new security guy. He is a weird guy and his act is really inappropriate. He talks a lot and so annoying with his question “Do you have fun”. Of course we don’t have fun when we lost a lot of money. He also likes to touch and rub my back. This is really inappropriate for him to touch any female customer. It made me feel not comfortable to come to Canyon Casino. He is acting like a pervert. Can you please tell him to shut his mouth and leave us alone? We don’t come to Canyon Casino to socialize with him. We come to gamble and win some money. And quit asking us if we have fun when we already lost a lot of money. It’s nothing fun to lose any money. We do like the rest of the security guys since they don’t bother us too much. But we do have some problem with Patrick. He does not know when need to shut up and leave. He just kept talking and annoyed us. There is a different between being nice and annoying. He is very annoying. And tell him to keep his hand to himself. Don’t touch us. Don't you have policy to not touching/grabbing/rubbing female customer? Thanks a lot. Karen

The slots are fun to play. We find that we have more wins at the Canyon then at other casinos.Very pleasant staff.

What a fun afternoon. The slot selection is a mix of old favorites, and new loud, flashy machines. I played "Nurse Funnies" for almost 30 minutes before cashing out. There are even old fashioned quarter machines upstairs that still drop quarters rather than tickets.If you hear a crying baby while playing; it is simply one of the escalators. I was ready to call security to throw the kid out until I found the problem. A little WD 40 would fix this problem. My slot card wasn't working right. I took it to the cashier where the friendly lady replaced it with a new pretty colored card. Today, I did not eat lunch there. Most of the time I do because of the excellent value in the cafe. I simply wasn't hungry. Yes, I will come to play and dine again sometime.

I accompanied ny friend to this casino a few nights agoand was immediately approached by and elderly womanwho said I was barred from this casino.Two security guards came to her aid and told me to leavethe casino at once.I was shocked by this rude behavior and mistreatmentI asked what was the problem, as I have played at timesbut not on a regular basis with no incidents.They treated me like a criminal and left before I could get an answer.It had to be a sign of mistaken identity on their part.I have been a faithful gambler here in Blackhawk/Central City sincethey opened in 1991 and had NEVER had an incident like this before.i don't drink or smoke and am very discreet who my friends are.It is a shame that this Casino treated me this way with no recourseon my behalf.

When we visited Black Hawk, the grill at Canyon Casino offered 50% off the entire menu on Thursdays. Husband and I both had a great meal & soft drink - me, chicken fried steak and him, shrimp platter. Cost was $12.00. We'll be back!
